Drilling Leadership

Our Drilling Facilities Design team members are former Pride International personnel, the third largest drilling contractor in the world prior to the Ensco merger. These team members executed projects such as Mad Dog, Holstein, Thunderhorse, Kizomba A and Kizomba B. Furthermore our drilling group has experience with FDPSOs, "round" FDPSOs, drillships, TLPs, semisubmersibles, modular platform rigs, jackups and land rigs.

Trevor Francis Smith, Vice President of Design leads the drilling team and brings with him over 38 years of international experience in bringing projects from conception to completion. A skilled overseer of mechanical Design, layouts and piping, he has worked with clients such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, BP, KCA/Deutag, Smedvig, and many others. He has supervised Design in design offices, tested equipment at suppliers' facilities, construction commissioning, and overseen start ups both on and offshore. During his time at William Jacob Management, he played an instrumental role in the Polvo Development Drilling Rig Package and the Murphy Azurite (first ever FDPSO) as Rig Interface Manager.
