William Jacob Management (WJM) has close ties to Stratford High School Athletics

Will and Jake Duffy are the sons of WJM President Mike Duffy. In fact, William Jacob Management, Inc. is named after the Duffy boys. In the Spring of 2011 both Will and Jake played for the Stratford High School baseball team. A very special occurrence as this is only the 4th time in 15 years that both boys have played on the same team. Jake, a senior this past year, was the starting center fielder and batted second in the lineup. Will, who was a junior, was a catcher and first baseman.
WJM has a long history of supporting the athletic program at Stratford High School as a business member of the Booster Club. Jake and Will have played football and baseball for the school but in recent years both have dedicated their time and skills to baseball. Jake is now on his way to Oklahoma State University to major in Mechanical Engineering. He has spent several summers as an intern at WJM working on various international projects.

Will is returning to Stratford in the fall to focus on his senior year and looks forward to playing catcher for the Spartans next spring. During the 2011 summer break Will is completing an intership in the accounting department at Seadrill. After graduating from Stratford in the spring of 2012, Will would like to attend the University of Texas and major in Business.

William Jacob Management Signs on as a H.O.I.S.T. Sponsor for a 2nd Year
In 2011 WJM continues the tradition of giving back to the community by continuing as a sponsor of the Houston Oilman’s Invitational Shooting Tournament (HOIST). WJM has remained a Gold Sponsor at this year's tournament. HOIST benefits the Children’s Assessment Center for sexually abused children in our community. Additionally, HOIST donates to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
WJM was at the tournament on Saturday, May 14th. WJM sponsored the breakfast before the tournament which included kolaches, coffee and juice.
The tournament was hosting approximately 420 particpants. All of the participants work in the Oil Industry as required by the tournament rules. In addition representatives from all of the other sponsors and organizers were in attendance. WJM feels this is a wonderful opportunity to spend some time with many associates in the industry in support of a worthy cause.
