Michael P. Duffy brings 20 years of executive-level international experience in project management, operations management, sales, and research and development. As president and owner of William Jacob Management since 2004, he brings proven strengths in operations management including all areas of P&L responsibility, startup and restructuring, business/systems development and team building. His reputation as an aggressive, bottom-line oriented executive who builds and leads highly motivated teams to solve problems and achieve operational excellence has been achieved through major projects for Petro-Marine Engineering, Pride International Inc. and Pall Houston, a division of Pall Corporation. He is an alumnus of the Florida Institute of Technology with a Masters Degree in Ocean Engineering.
Trevor Francis Smith|Vice President, Engineering
Trevor Francis Smith has 38 years of international experience in bringing projects from conception to completion. A skilled overseer of mechanical engineering, layouts and piping, he has worked with clients such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, BP, KCA/Deutag, Smedvig, and many others. He has supervised engineering in design offices, tested equipment at suppliers' facilities, construction commissioning, and overseen start ups both on and offshore. During his time at William Jacob Management, he played an instrumental role in the Polvo Development Drilling Rig Package, and the Murphy Azurite first ever FDPSO as Rig Interface Manager.
John Weaver | Vice President, Projects
John Weaver brings over 35 years of international experience in project management, design, and supervision, working on major projects with clients such as Shell Oil, Coastal Oil & Gas, Mobil Oil, Hyundai Heavy Industries/Brasoil and many others. He has overseen engineering and construction of field installations of chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refining and natural gas processing facilities, as well as offshore facilities and pipelines. He has extensive industry experience including offshore and onshore oil and gas, compressor stations, shallow/deepwater, heavy crude and sour production. He is a University of Houston alumnus.
Ojin Kwon | Vice President, Finance
Ojin Kwon brings over 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry as both project controller and operations manager. As an operations manager, he uses extensive knowledge to oversee day to day operations which includes Administration, Payroll, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance. Mr. Kwon also brings value to projects as project cost controller and scheduling supervisor. He is an alumnus with Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration on Management Information Systems.

Jerry Mouton has devoted more than 35 years to building relationships and delivering solutions in the oil field services industry. In roles ranging from independent owner/partner to corporate marketing executive for a major drilling company, Jerry has come to appreciate the profound benefits that result when clients and contractors share a vision for success. Drawing upon his expertise in operations, proposal development and contract management, Jerry works to ensure that every WJM engagement achieves our clients' business goals.
Peter Cutt | Corporate Adviser and Sr. Consultant
Mr. Cutt was with Petro-Marine for eighteen years as President, General Manager and Project manager. In the 33 years of experience in the oil and gas offshore industry, the vast majority of this time has been spent in the management of projects. Initially as Project Engineer with responsibility for large portions of engineering design with progression to total project responsibilities for all aspects of engineering cost and schedule control planning, subcontractor management, purchasing vendor interfaces and construction and installation management.
Most recently, Mr. Cutt has acted as the Interface Manager for a multinational deepwater development in Africa. The project included a major FPSO Conversion and Subsea Production Systems.
Peter van Dongen | Structural Engineering Manager
Peter van Dongen has more than 15 years of experience in design and construction of drilling rigs deployed to the world's most extreme operating environments. Combining strengths in materials management, quality assurance and integration, he adds value throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, he has managed structural design teams of up to 65 engineers and technical specialists in delivering project work packages on time and on budget. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer.
Gordon Gamble | Project Manager
Gordon Gamble brings almost 40 years of international experience in structural and outfitting design engineering in both offshore and marine applications. He has worked in several countries including the U.S.A., Canada, Scotland, England, Germany, Holland, Portugal and Denmark. He has brought his skills to various design projects such as Statoil Peregrino, Devon Polvo, BP Mad Dog, Murphy Front Runner, Rowan Gorilla VII Jack-up, Marine Drilling’s Marine 700 Semi Submersible, Global Santa Fe Rig updates, various drill ship refurbishments, cruise ships, ferries, oceanographic survey vessels, oil tankers, Canadian Coast Guard Icebreakers and various Navy frigate designs. He has done a four year apprenticeship in Scotland and holds a City & Guilds Shipbuilding Technicians Certificate.
Dan V. Hines, Jr. | Procurement Manager
Dan Hines brings 20 years of procurement experience to WilliamJacob Management. He specializes in global sourcing, contracts, cost-control, material management, on-site coordination, expediting and quality assurance. He has served as Project Procurement Manager on a variety of major international projects, including the BP Thunder Horse Top Sides, Holstein and Mad Dog Drilling Modules, Exxon-Mobil’s EPC 4A and Kizomba A Project in Nigeria; BHP’s Billiton Angostura Subsea Pipe Lay Project in Trinidad and Chevron’s Farm Project in Angola.
