Michael P. Duffy | President
Michael P. Duffy brings 20 years of executive-level international experience in project management, operations management, sales, and research and development. As president and owner of William Jacob Management since 2004, he brings proven strengths in operations management including all areas of P&L responsibility, startup and restructuring, business/systems development and team building. His reputation as an aggressive, bottom-line oriented executive who builds and leads highly motivated teams to solve problems and achieve operational excellence has been achieved through major projects for Petro-Marine Engineering, Pride International Inc. and Pall Houston, a division of Pall Corporation. He is an alumnus of the Florida Institute of Technology with a Masters Degree in Ocean Engineering.

John Weaver | Projects Coordinator
John Weaver brings over 35 years of international experience in project management, design, and supervision, working on major projects with clients such as Shell Oil, Coastal Oil & Gas, Mobil Oil, Hyundai Heavy Industries/Brasoil and many others. He has overseen engineering and construction of field installations of chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refining and natural gas processing facilities, as well as offshore facilities and pipelines. He has extensive industry experience including offshore and onshore oil and gas, compressor stations, shallow/deepwater, heavy crude and sour production. He is a University of Houston alumnus.

Trevor Francis Smith | Technical Director
Trevor Francis Smith has 32 years of international experience in bringing projects from conception to completion. A skilled overseer of mechanical engineering, design layouts and piping, he has worked with clients such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, BP, KCA/Deutag, Deutag UK Ltd., Smedvig, and many others. He has supervised engineering in design offices, tested equipment at suppliers' facilities, installed, completed and commissioned construction yards, and overseen start ups both on and offshore. During his time at William Jacob Management, he played an instrumental role in the Polvo Development Drilling Rig package, including surveys and recommendations for the Rig purchase.

Gordon Gamble | Project Manager
Gordon Gamble brings almost 40 years of international experience in structural design and engineering with a specialization in marine engineering. He has brought his skills to projects for clients such as Pride International, Global Santa Fe Corp., and Sea Engineering Inc. He holds a City & Guilds Shipbuilding Technicians Certificate, and early in his career he designed Frigates for the Dutch and Brazilian Navies.

Leon Juneau | Piping Manager
Leon Juneau brings almost 30 years of international experience in the design and engineering of marine drilling rigs, petrochemical plants, and paper mills. His reputation for creativity and success is founded upon a wide variety of challenging assignments, including five years in the United States Air Force as a Communications Analyst, with a 2 year posting in Karamursel, Turkey. More recently, he was the Piping Team Lead for Noble Corporation's Clyde Boudreaux Phase II Project through Bell Engineering. He is an alumnus of Lamar University, where he was awarded the Otto Plummer Award for Scholastic Achievement. |
Wayne Finch | Electrical Manager
Wayne Finch brings over 30 years of international experience in Electrical Engineering, design, procurement, documentation, and project supervision. He has worked on dozens of large projects for companies such as Odesco, Inc., Natures Water Corporation, Nabors Alaska Drilling and many others. One recent major project was the refurbishment of an Ensco 26 Platform Rig for Devon Energy, for which he performed design, procurement, documentation and project supervision services, as well as testing and commissioning. |
Dan V. Hines, Jr. | Project Procurement Coordinator
Dan Hines brings 13 years of procurement experience to William Jacob Management. He specializes in global sourcing, expediting, receiving, cost-control, material management, on-site coordination and quality assurance. He has served as Project Procurement Manager on a variety of major international projects, including the Arcel Project for Nova Chemicals, which included 45 major equipment packages and eight subcontracts; Exxon-Mobil's Kizomba A Project in Nigeria ; BHP's Billiton Angustora Subsea Pipe Lay Project; and Mobil Nigeria 's Etim D Project. |
Fred Weikert | Senior Project Facilities Engineer
Fred Weikert has almost 40 years of experience in Engineering Design and Project Management for complex oil and gas projects around the globe. A seasoned professional, he is well versed in both Offshore and Onshore environments throughout the U.S., Africa and the Middle East. Typically involved from project proposal to commissioning and start-up, he has a track record for enhancing operability, maximizing production and increasing profitability. Fred holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Early in his career, he earned a place on NASA's Lunar Honor Roll for his contributions to the Saturn V program. |
Michael Harwood | Marine Structures Engineer/Manager
Michael Harwood brings more than 25 years of experience in design, analysis and fabrication of highly advanced offshore platforms, subsea equipment structures and specialized vessels/ships. Through his mastery of sophisticated technical software, he ensures the integrity, safety and reliability of complex structural components. On a recent project, Michael led the design effort to add onboard drilling facilities to an existing FPSO, resulting in an industry first. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering Science (Civil) and is a member of the Marine Technology Society, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the Project Management Institute. |
Peter van Dongen | Structural Engineer
Peter van Dongen has more than 15 years of experience in design and construction of drilling rigs deployed to the world's most extreme operating environments. Combining strengths in materials management, quality assurance and integration, he adds value throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, he has managed structural design teams of up to 65 engineers and technical specialists in delivering project work packages on time and on budget. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer. |
